Luke AFB EUL Phase II & III

Luke AFB is located in Glendale, AZ, approximately 27 miles northwest of Phoenix.  Luike AFB is a major training base of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and is a training base for F-16 pilots. The 56th Operations Group is the host unit at Luke AFB. The wing is composed of four groups of 27 squadrons, including eight fighter squadrons. There are several tenant units on Luke AFB including the 944th Fighter Wing.

The Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at Luke AFB includes an approximately 128 acre site that has been identified as a potential site for a Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Project.

The U.S. Air Force and Luke AFB seek to engage a private sector developer to lease the land and develop a PV Solar Energy Project. The private sector developer will propose to develop, operate and maintain the project and provide cash or in-kind consideration to Luke AFB equal to at least the fair market value of the leased asset.

The U.S. Air Force and Luke AFB are currently completing due diligence for this project. Further details are forthcoming.
